Membership, Aims and Objectives
Calabar Union membership comprises of indigenes of Efik, Qua and Efut ethnicity, their spouses and descendants.
Calabar Union of the United Kingdom aims to achieve the following:-
i. create a climate of respect and promote harmony amongst its members.
ii. promote and encourage unity and the well being of Calabar people in United Kingdom
iii. encourage members to participate and contribute as good citizens to the host country.
iv. promote Calabar culture, language and history.
v. promote education by ways of scholarships, bursaries, grants, and sponsor or/and participation in projects for advancement of education and culture.
vi. promote good health by dissemination of relevant information.
vii. encourage and promote the development of Calabar.
viii. support and promote institutions in Calabar.
ix. work with other people and/or organisations in good causes.
